Kandangan, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Regent of South Hulu Sungai (HSS) H Achmad Fikry stated that his government will continue to strive to maintain an Unqualified Opinion (WTP) after winning it for seven years in a row.
The regent was speaking when together with Deputy Regent Syamsuri Arsyad attending the 2020 National Working Meeting (Rakernas) for Government Financial Accounting and Reporting held virtually by the Finance Ministry, Tuesday.
HSS success of winning WTP for the seventh times is expected to further improve the regional financial management, transparent, accountable, and can benefit the community.
"Every year we are invited to Jakarta for WTP award presentation, but this year in the midst of COVID-19 pandemic (national working meeting) is held virtually," he said at the Media Center Room of the Regional Secretariat of HSS government.

He said a number of awards were presented to institutions and regions that maintained WTP for 10 years and 5 years in a row. He was grateful that HSS has won the best audit grade (WTP) for seven times.
Meanwhile, the national working meeting was held in order to increase accountability and transparency in the management of state finance in the handling of COVID-19 pandemic and national economic recovery. It also encouraged the optimization of the use of information technology in the era of adaptation to new habits.
