But former Head of Bina Marga (Highways) of Public Works Agency can not give an estimates cost of about three kilometers long bridge for it has no design yet.
"The estimated cost of making the design of the will be the longest bridge in South Kalimantan approximately Rp7 billion," he said after a working meeting with DPRD Commission III on infrastructure development. He said that the governor asked that the charges included in the 2014 provincial budget changes.
While talks on the construction of the bridge will later be sharing between the State Budget (APBN), South
Kalimantan provincial budget (APBD), and the district budget of Tanah Bumbu and Kotabaru.
"So the plan purely using the budget of government, not from private parties, such as PT Silo promising to build the bridge, as the granting mining license in Kotabaru," he said.
While the engineering design of the bridge over the Strait of Pulau Laut will be modeled in Hong Kong, said Martinus.
