Kandangan, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - A total of 19 beginners entrepreneur in South Hulu Sungai (HSS) District received financial assistance from the Ministry of Cooperative and Small and Medium Enterprice. The aid was symbolically handed over by Regent H Achmad Fikry.
Head of the HSS Manpower, Cooperative, SME and Industry (Disnakerkop UKP) Hendro Martono in Kandangan on Wednesday (June 17, 2020) said the ministry's assistance for beginners entrepreneur only for two district in South Kalimantan, namely HSS and Central Hulu Sungai (HST).
"The aid for HSS received by 19 entrepreneurs and three entrepreneurs for HST," he said in the report.
The 19 startup entrepreneurs got financial assistance ranging from IDR10 million to IDR12 million each with a total aid of IDR215 million.
Regent H Achmad Fikry pointed out that the fund assistance from the ministry for the startup entrepreneurs was obtained thanks to the rapid move of the Disnakerkop HSS, who prior to refocusing the COVID-19 fund had already submitted an application and it worth a grateful that the fund was received.
In the future the government will continue to provide assistance to these new entrepreneurs, especially in the current pandemic, MSMEs are encouraged to continue to grow, so their products will be comparable to tourism in the region.

On this occasion, Disnakerkop UKP submitted assistance of 65 pieces of level two hazmat clothes, the results of IKM technical guidance, to HSS regent, to be later submitted to the HSS Task Force.
Present at the ceremony Deputy Regent Syamsuri Arsyad, Regional Secretary H. Muhammad Noor, government Assistant to Community Development Administration who is also Acting Head of Communication and Informatics Office Sasmi Rifani.
