It such a dream came true that for tens of years they have been waiting to have lighting in their own village just like other people in their villages.
"This is a real work base on the fact that the district government together with PLN care the community till the remote areas," he said when Regent HST together with PT PLN UP3 Barabai and the Hantakan Sub-district consultative forum in Haruyan Dayak officiated the activation of electricity in the village, Wednesday (3/7).
Marketing and Customer Service Manager of PLN Barabai Unit Implementation 3 (UP3) Dani Ramdani said the electricity network have been installed in the hamlets of Haruya'an, Ambih, Impun, and Pantai Binuang with a total 105 customers in the neighborhood unit 3 and 4 in Haruyan Dayak Village.
"The source of development budget came from the state budget (APBN) of about Rp6,2 billions as the village is in the category of 3T ( (the frontier, outermost and remote regions). So, a new installation of 450 VA power is subsidize and get a discount of 50 percent," he pointed out.
"Our challange as well as our target is, just as the village chief has reported, that there some hamplet, namely Tamburasak, Kumuh and Mancatur, have not enjoyed electricity. May we realize it," he hoped.
HST Regent, who was representated by Expert Staff of Economy and Development Ir Zainuddin thanked PLN for having installed electricity network till it reach the remote villages in HST.
"Indeed the access to electricity is a joint effort of the district government together with PLN for caring of residents, especially in remote areas, till they have the same right in development," he said.
