A Kotabaru DPRD member Rahmad stated his commitment to improve health facilities in Pamukan Barat Sub-district.
"Through pokir (DPRD's key ideas) we build puskesmas with outpatient care, and we makes efforts to build inpatient facilites," he said in Kotabaru, Monday.
Rahmad said that the Pamukan II community health center (puskesmas) is in dire need of additional facilities, considering the distance residents travel to healthcare facilities in Sengayam Sub-district.
"we will gradually improve it, so that the community can enjoy excellent services," he said.

In addition to inpatient facilities, he also proposed construction of official housing around the Pamukan II community health center, improvement of public facilities, road, and sport facilities such as volleyball court, youth organization camp, and other support facilities.
"Not only infrastructure, we also accomodate socio-religious activities," he said.
Throughout 2025 there were 15 islamic study groups (majelis taklim), mosques and musholla in the sub-districts of Pamukan Utara, Pamukan Barat, Sungai Durian, and Sampanahan.
This PAN cadre also stated that his party continues to strive to improve human resources by conducting moral education in his electoral district.
"We prioritize developing human morals because it's more important than physical development," he concluded.
