Hundreds of residents of Rejosari Village, Mentewe Sub-district, in Tanah Bumbu District, South Kalimantan, enthusiastically participated in the Red and White Synergy Action initiated by Regent Andi Rudi Latif, better known as Bang Arul.
The activities began with a fun walk involving residents, students, and local government officials, sub-district and village leadership coordination forums (forkopimda), and others.
"The community's enthusiasm was very high, they enthusiastically joined the route prepared by the committee," said Tanah Bumbu Regent Andi Rudi Latif in Batulicin on Friday.

He said this activity demonstrated the unity between the local government and the community in strengthening ties and fostering a spirit of mutual cooperation in the village.
Following the fun walk, people were invited to participate in a cleanup action. Each participant who collected the most trash received a basic food package from the Tanah Bumbu Environment Office (DLH).
The committee also held a prize draw for fun walk. Various attractive prizes were provided by the Mantewe Sub-district, supported by Bank Kalsel.
Regent said the Red and White Synergy Action is a concrete expression of the the local government presence within the community. Th goal is to bring public services closer to the residents, especially people in rural areas.

"Through this activities, the government wants to ensure that all residents, including in remote villages, get equal service and attention. This is a concrete form of spirit of mutual cooperation and love for Tanah Bumbu," he said.
He informed that the Red and White Synergy Action will continue to be held on a rotating basis in other sub-districts. Thus, all areas in Tanah Bumbu can benefit the activities, which combines elements of public service, etertainment, and education .
The Red and White Synergy Action involved a number fo government agencies (SKPD) that provided direct services to the community, including MSME, health service, BPJS, Samsat (vocational vehicle tax office). The event also featured traditional art performance.
