The Communication, Information, Statistics and Coding Agency (Kominfosp) in Tanah Bumbu, South Kalimantan Province, coached Pagaruyung Village officials in Kusan Hilir Sub-district to boost understanding of Smart Village program.
"The coaching is carried out through digital security and culture training," said Head of Public Information and Communication of the agency Akhmad Salehuddin in Batulicin, Thursday.
This village, he said, has its own Village Digital Community Room (RKDD), as a forum that must be used to manage data and digital culture in modern era.

Data security threats, especially phising, which is a cyber crime stealing personal data, usually impersonates official entities, such as bank and government agencies, must be watched out for.
He also explained how to make password that is easy to remember but difficult to guess.
"For instance, make a sentence and then take the first letter of each word to use as password," said Akhmad Salehuddin, who is familiarly called Gilang.
At the end of presentation, Gilang also gave additional tips in maintaining data security.
"Always be alert and not easy to be fooled. If you doubt about an email, message or website, don't hesitate to contact the party concerned directly through official channels," concluded Gilang.
