The Tanjung Office of State Treasury Service Office (KPPN) in Tabalong District, South Kalimantan, won the clean and serving bureaucratic areas (WBBM) award from Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB).
KPPN Tanjung, with a working area covering the districts of Tabalong, HSU dan Balangan, became the first unit to achieve WBBM in its working area.
“This award is an encouragement to other units in Tabalong, HSU and Balangan to work together to realize integrity zone,” said Head of Tanjung KPPN Sigid Mulyadi here on Friday.
He expressed his gratitude to all parties from work units, regional government, and all stakeholders who have supported Tanjung KPPN that succeeded in achieving the WBBM title.
WBBM award became a furthr milestone in the integrity zone program since KPPN Tanjung began the launch of Integrity Zone (ZI) towards corruption-free areas (WBK) and clean and serving bureaucratic areas (WBBM) in 2019.
KPPN Tanjung won the corruption-free areas (WBK) award in 2020.
KPPN Tanjung actively particIpated in the assesment of WBK and WBBM integrity zone as bureaucratic reform program at the Ministry of Finance's Directorate General of Treasury.
Bureaucratic reform is an effort to achieve good governance by carrying out reforms and basic changes to the government administration system.
While, Integrity Zone is to encourage efforts to eradicate and prevent corruption and improve th quality of public services to realize good governance.
“KPPN Tanjung is ready to share tips and strategies with every government agencies in achieving WBK and WBBM,” said Sigid.
Previously, a certificate of appreciation was handed over by PANRB Minister Rini Widyantini to Head of KPPN Tanjung Sigid Mulyadi at the “One Decade of Integrity one & ZI Awarding towards WBK/WBBM 2024” at the Bidakara Hotel, Jakarta, Wednesday (Dec 11, 2024).
