The Kotabaru, south Kalimantan, Legislative Council (DPRD) Speaker Suwanti invited the people of the "Bumi Saijaan" to make Pancasila Sanctity Day as a momentum to strengthen unity and the values of Pancasila.
"(Make) the commemoration of October 1st as a strengthening of Pancasila values, reminder of the nation's history, and an increase in love for the country and nationalism, which aims to strengthen the sense of unity, mantaining national identity and strengthen commitment to Pancasila," she said at the ceremony in Kotabaru, Tuesday.
The ceremony, which was held at the Regent Office in Sebelimbingan Village, with the Commander of 1004/Kotabaru Military Command as the inspector, was attended by the district leadership communication forum (forkopimda), government employees, TNI, Polri, as well as guests and students.

The Pancasila Sanctity Day 2024 with a theme "Together with Pancasila we realize a Golden Indonesia," she said, was an important step for the next generation to maintain the integrity of the nation and to develop nationalism.
"Nowadays, in the midst of progress and pluralism, it is time to unite, so that we can ward off threats that come from anywhere," she said.
Suwanti invited all levels of society to remain united and maintain harmony in society to continue to create a safe and conducive environment from the latent dangers that appear in other forms.
