Adaro has again booked an achievement in the Global CSR Awards (GCA) and this year the company won three awards at once, two Gold and one Platinum Award.
Adaro won Gold in the category of Best Environmental Excellence Award for its Kampung Asri Program and Best Community Programme Award for Desa Mamanda (Masyarakat Maju dan Berdaya) Program.
The company was awarded with a Platinum Award in the category of Excellence In Provision Of Literacy & Education Award for its Program Adaro Santri Sejahtera (PASS).
“This award is a form of the company's commitment and teamwork in realizing society towards independence in a sustaible environment through CSR program," explaniedPT Adaro Indonesia CSR representative Heryanto Andilolo in a press release, Thursday.
Heriyanto Andilolo and Aan Nurhadi represented Adaro CSR team and Citra Hapsari from Adaro Bangun Negeri Foundation (YABN) received the awards at the 15th Global CSR & ESG Summit & Awards™ 2023, Tuesday (August 29, 2023) atNovotel Danang Premier Han River Vietnam.
Citra Hapsari said that the award was also a form of Adaro's commitment to improving te quality of education through vocation.
“Platinum award for PASS is a proof of hard work of CSR team, especially YABN in realizing Adaro's commitment to improve the quality education in society through santri vocation in Islamic boarding school," she said.
Global CSR & ESG Summit and Awards 2023™ is Asia's highly prestigious award program for CSR and ESG.
This program recognizes and honors companies for their world-class, extraordinary, innovative and continuously implemented products, services, projects, and programs.
Global CSR & ESG Summit and Award 2023 was attended by resource persons, participants who were senior executives and CSR & ESG professionals from various contries, such as Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Philippine, Vietnam, India, and Sri Lanka.
With the theme “Driving Transformation Change Beyond Greenwashing” GCA focused on inspiring participants to discuss and found transformational ESG & CSR strategies.
The jury for this award event were internasional CSR and ESG experts.
Adaro's CSR has participated since 2013 in the GCA event and until 2022 has won 19 awards and this year Adaro won three award again.
"Alhamdulillah, very grateful and proud to win one Platinum and two Gold," said Aan Nurhadi, PT Adaro's CSR representative who received the awards directly.
