The Ministry of Health has awarded the Provincial Government of South Kalimantan the first rank or the best in Indonesia in pharmaceutical services.
"This is for the 2022 assessment which is submitted this year by the Ministry of Health," said Head of South Kalimantan Health Office dr Diauddin in Banjarmasin, Monday.
This achievement, he said, is thank to the Governor H Sahbirin Noor who continues to instruct that health and pharmaceutical services must be very well provided to the community.
"This award is our motivation to continue to do better in the future, don't let it become unmaintained," said Diauddin.

Head of Health Resources (SDK) of the agency Ahmad Yani said, assessment indicators include standard operating procedure for drug management.
The second, he continued, prescription assessment and service, and the last Drug Information Service (PIO).
“So of these three indicators, South Kalimantan all meet and the management was the best in Indonesia,” he pointed out.
From the assessment of the award, he said, it can be concluded that pharmaceutical services in hospitals and community health centers have met the standards set by the Ministry of Health.
“This is a motivation to improve health service to the community, thereby facilitating treatment, specifically for health services to the public,” he said.
"If people are helped or treated well, hopefully the impact will speed up people's recovery," he said.
Previously, South Kalimantan won the 2023 PPKM Award from the Ministry of Health as it was considered had handling well the COVID-19.
