Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The Kotabaru Customs and Excise Control Type Madya C Office (Kantor Pelayanan, Pengawasan Bea dan Cukai Tipe Madya Pabean C ) planted 1,000 seedlings of various trees.


"The planting of 1,000 trees is a series of 'Customs Go Green` activities in commemorating the 64th International Customs Day (HPI), "said Section of Internal Compliance and Extension Service of the Kotabaru Customs Office Mukhlis here Thursday.

He explained that 1,000 tree seedlings planted consists of mahogany, cape, nut, and tamarind. This is one proof of the active role of the institute and a real contribution to the environment and society Kotabaru.

Tree planting activity was conducted in collaboration with the Central Pulaulaut Sub-district Consultative Forum (Muspika), community leaders, village heads, Youth, students and the community around Tanjung Serdang, Central Pulaulaut.

In addition to planting tree seedlings, Office Services, Customs and Excise Control Type Madya C also socialized customs and excisein to schools.

Earlier, the Tiga roda cement industry PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa (ITP) in cooperation with the Indonesian Journalists Association (PWI) planted seeds of mangrove in nature reserves Langadai Village, Sub-district of Kelumpang Hilir, Kotabaru.
