South Kalimantan Industry and Trade Agency(Disperindag) sold low price cooking oil to small businesses.

Team of Disperindag in Banjarmasin on Wednesday visited small businesses, such as food traders, by walking along the streets and alleys in the city offering cooking oil for Rp13,000 per liter.

Head of the agency Birhasani said the activity was the government's concern for MSMEs during cooking oil crisis.

"When cooking oil crisis in our area, among those who must be considered are small business players and micro-enterprises, so they can continue to run their businesses," he said.

However, the agency still limits the purchase of cooking oil to a maximum of 6 liters for every trader.

Birhasani said the market operation of low price cooking oil is carried out throughout South Kalimantan with a share of 100 MSMEs players for each district and city.
