The District Government of Kotabaru has signed an agreement (PKS) on videotron with PT Indonesia Market Quotes (IMQ), a subsidiary of the National News Agency (LKBN) Antara.

Kotabaru Regional Secretary H Said Akhmad, who signed the agreement, said he was so grateful. Information, according to him, is an important part of one region, without information there is no progress.

“With this agreement, we can sell and promote our region, including regional potential,” he said after the signing at Wisma Antara, Jakarta, Monday.

Said Akhmad noted in a statement that the videotron will be installed at Siring Laut, which is a public area so that the public can directly watch the latest information from local and national governments.

Chief Executive Officer of PT IMQ Darmadi said that this cooperation is our way to take advantage of the extensive network to help and expose the regional potentials to national and international levels.

The installation in South Kalimantan will be carried out in the first quarter. Minimum indoor installation at the airport and continued into the city.

Also present at the signing ceremony were the head of South Kalimantan Communication and Informatics Agency, head of Kotabaru Communication and Informatics Agency represented by Head of Public Communication and Coding, and invited guests.

PKS is cooperation in public service in the form of videotron (outdoor media) and TVC (indoor media) which is a follow-up to the coordination of heads of Communication and Informatics Agency throughout SouthKalimantan with LKBN some time ago.
