Deputy for Public Service Diah Natalisa representing the Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Tjahjo Kumolo inaugurated the Banjarbaru Public Service Mall (MPP).
The inauguration of the mall which is managed by the Banjarbaru Investment and One-Stop Service Agency (DPMPTSP) was carried out on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, with Banjarbaru Mayor H M Aditya Mufti Ariffin.
South Kalimantan Governor Sahbirin Noor represented by the Regional Secretary Roy Rizali Anwar also attended along with Deputy Mayor Wartono, Banjarbaru Regional Secretary Said Abdullah, and other invited guests.
"The presence of this MPP is a manifestation of the Banjarbaru City Government's commitment to providing the best public service and convenience for the entire residents," said the Mayor on the sideline of the inauguration.
He said the community has various interests and goals that the city government responded by building a mall that contains public service counters.
MPP services are integrated with each other, that people can complete all their needs in one place with transparent costs and completion times.
A total of 13 agencies occupy the mall which has been operating since February 2021 starting with DPMPTSP, the police service, Banjarbaru Prosecutor's Office, South Kalimantan Revenue Agency (UPPD Samsat), the District Court, Religious Court, the Workers Social Security Agency (BPJS Tenaga Kerja), PT Taspen.
There is also Bank Kalsel, BRI, BNN, Population and Civil Registration Agency (Disdukcapil), and the Banjarbaru Tax and Levy Management Agency.
MPP is also equipped with convenience facilities, including disability service, complaint and consultation room, self-service desk, an automated machine for population service (ADM).
Reading corners, smoking area, children's playroom, lactation room, information display, musholla, coffee corners, and Banjarbaru MSME corners are also provided.
"MPP is a candidate for the corruption-free area award and we hope the apparatus are professional, integrity, and expected to get a higher status of WBBM," he said.
