The South Kalimantan Task Force for Acceleration, Control, and Handling of COVID-19 reported on Monday evening an increase of 141 cases to bring the total case to 9.423.
The addition came from Tanah Laut 5, Banjar 3, Tapin 12, North Hulu Sungai (HSU) 9, Balangan 79, Banjarmasin City 3, and Banjarbaru City 30.
On the same day, 81 patients had recovered, bringing the total recovery to 7,491 or 79.5 percent of the total 9,423 cases.
There were 1,540 patients under treatment, the death toll 392, while the number of suspect has reached 781 people.

To stem the high increase in COVID-19 cases, Governor Sahbirin Noor had established a number of programs, including a mass throat swab test and distributing one million masks.
He said, the provincial government has budgeted for making one million masks to be handed out in 13 districts and cities in the province.
The masks producing were also to revive MSME in South Kalimantan who facing a hardship of the COVID-19 pandemic.
"The number of one million masks of course is still not enough to be distributed to South Kalimantan residents who currently are more than four millions, but the shortage will be met by various parties, including the police, private compaines, and others," he said.
Previously, the city government of Banjarmasin confirmed that it would not relaxed its alertness against the transmission of COVID-19, even though 37 urban villages were already green zone or there were no more cases.
