The mineral fuel group (HS 27) became the largest contributor to South Kalimantan's export in July 2020 with a value of US$257.02 million, down 9.70 percent compared to June. 


"The mineral fuel group (HS 27) gave the largest share to the total export in July 2020, namely 74.77 percent," Head of South Kalimantan Central Statistics Agency (BPS) M Edy Mahmud noted in statement received here, Saturday. 

The second largest contributor was the group of animal/vegetable fats (HS 15) US$44.52 million, decreased by 27.19 percent. The third wood and wood goods group (HS 44) with a value of U$18.42 million, also decreased by 13.19 percent. 

Then the fourth and the fifth, the group of rubber and rubber goods (HS 40) and the group of metal ore, crust, and ash (HS 26) with contributions of 3.77 percent and 1.00 percent. 

"The export role of the five groups of goods in July 2020 reached 97.86 percent of the total export through the loading port in South Kalimantan," said Edy.

The total value of Sout Kalimantan export in July was US$343.73 million down by 11.43 percent compared to export in June of US$388.08 million.

Meanwhile, the province's import in July was recorded at us438.11 million, increased by 18.51 percent compared to import in June atUS$32.16 million or down by 60.56 percent compared to July 2019.

The highest share of import was also HS 27 with a value of US433.13 million, followed by the group of machine/mechanical aircraft (HS 84) US$1.37 million, and fertilizer (HS 31) US$0.95 million witha contribution of 86.94 percent, 3.59 percent, and 2.48 percent from the total import in July.
