The South Hulu Sungai (HSS) Health Office head as a spokesperson for COVID-19 Task Force doctor Siti Zainab reported a new 21 confirmed positive case.

The most of the case, she said, came from the sub-district ofKandangan with nine case, followed by Sungai Raya with seven cases, the other came from Padang Batung two cases, Angkinang, Simpur and Daha Selatan each one case, and two more patients died to bring the number of death to nine.

"The total confirmed positive is 143 people, 110 are inpatient, 24 had recovered, and today (Sunday July 12, 2020) two people died to bring the number to nine," she said in an official report.

Meanwhile, she said, the number of Patient Under Surveillance (PDP) is 24, and 383 People Under Monitoring (ODP), 355 of them had completed their period of monitoring (quarantine), the rest 28 in process.

The distribution of ODP per sub-district, 88 in Kandangan and 85 had finished monitoring, Daha Selatan 72 and 66 had completed, Daha Barat five and two had finished.

Daha Utara 56 and 51 had completed, Simpur 38 and 36 had finished, Sungai Raya 31 and 28 had finished, Padang Batung 30 and 28 had completed.

Angkinang 28 ODP and 27 had finished, Telaga Langsat nine and all had completed, Kalumpang 14 and 11 completed, and Loksado 12 all had completed.
