Head of South Hulu Sungai (HSS) Health Agency who is the spokesperson of the COVID-19 Task Force doctor Siti Zainab reported new six confirmed cases from three sub-district. One from Sungai Raya, four from Daha Utara, and one from Daha Selatan.

"With the addition of these six cases, the total number of confirmed cases is 118, as many as 88 are under treatment, 23 had declared recovered, and seven people died," she said on Wednesday (July 8, 2020) afternoon.

She detailed the new confirmed cases, namely a man (60) from Hamalau Village, Sungai Raya, a man (60) from Teluk Haur Village, Daha Utara, a man (42) from Teluk Haur, Daha Utara.

A man (56) from Teluk Haur, Daha Utara, a man (56) from Teluk Labak, Daha Utara, and a woman (52) from Tambangan, Daha Selatan.

While Patients Under Surveillance (PDP) increased by two, namely HBS-150 a woman (14) from Pajampang Bahagia, Simpur, and HBS-151 a zero old infant from Kalumpang, to make the total to 28.

People Under Monitoring (ODP) is 383, as many as 346 had completed the monitoring period, 37 are still in process. The details are Kandangan 89 ODP and 84 completed, Daha Selatan 72 ODP and 66 completed.

Daha Barat five ODP and two completed, Daha Utara 52 ODP and 51 completed, Simpur 37 ODP and 36 completed, Sungai Raya 35 ODP and 21 completed, Padang Batung 28 ODP and 28 completed.

Angkinang 30 ODP and 26 completed, Telaga Langsat nine ODP and nine completed, Kalumpang 14 ODP and 11 completed, Loksado 12 ODP and all 12 completed.
