Head of the South Hulu Sungai (HSS) Health Agency concurrently the spokesperson of Task Force for Acceleration Handling of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) doctor Siti Zainab reported a new seven confirmed positive case.

She said the additional cases came from two sub-districts, Kandangan with five cases, and Simpur with two cases, and has brought the total number to 95.

"Of the total 95 positive cases, 65 are inpatients, 23 had recovered, and seven died," she said in an official report of the task force, Sunday (July 5, 2020) afternoon.

The detail of new positive patients, namely a woman (47), a man (22), a man (53), and a girl (12), all were from the Kandangan Kota Urban Village, Kandangan Sub-district.

Then a man (48) from Amawang Kiri Muka Village, Kandangan Sub-district, a boy (10) from Wasah Tengah Village, Simpur, and a woman (51) also from Simpur, Simpur Sub-district, 

All of them were placed at the isolation room of the District Hospital of Brigjend H Hasan Basry Kandangan.

"The number of Patient Under Surveillance (PDP) added by one to become 21. The addition came from a patient with a code name HBS-143, a man (73) from Sungai Raya Selatan Village, Sungai Raya," she said.

Meanwhile the total number of People Under Monitoring (ODP) is 387 and 345 had finished their period of monitoring, the remaining 42 are in process.
