Head of South Hulu Sungai (HSS) Health Office concurrently spokesperson of the Task Force for Acceleration of COVID-19 Handling doctor Siti Zainab reported a new 12 positive cases to bring the total to 78.

The addition of the new cases was dominated by Daha Utara Sub-district with eight cases, then Daha Selatan two, and Kandangan two.

"The total number of confirmed positive COVID-19 cases was 78, as many as 48 are inpatient, 23 had declared recovered, and seven people died," she said.

Based on the data in the task force, to date the distribution of positive cases in the sub-districts, the highest was in Daha Utara with 22 cases, followed by Kandangan 16, and Simpur 10 cases.

Then Sungai Raya nine cases, Daha Selatan six, Angkinang five, Daha Barat and Kalumpang each four, Telaga Langsat and Padang Batung each one, while Loksado remained zero case.
