The hottest chili of Hiyung has brought Tapin District into the Public Service Innovation Competition (KIPP) held by the Administrative-and-Bureaucratic-Reform-Ministry.
Tapin Regent HM Arifin Arpan happily welcomed the entry of hottest chili --which pungency 17 times of the ordinary chili-- into the 2020 Top 99 Public Service Innovation.

Arifin Arpan said, the Hiyung farming itself was able to improve the economy of the villagers, who mostly used to work by collecting firewood for fuel.
"(Now) there are many chili processed products, such as shredded chili, bottled or packed chili sauce, and others which have improved the rural economy through BUMdes (village-owned enterprise)," he said.
The development of Hiyung chili was an effort of the Tapin government by embracing the millennial in improving the economy in the village and encouraging creative youth.
