The Indonesian President spokesperson Fadjroel Rachman was inaugurated as the 2020 Banjarmasin Ambassador of Sasirangan together with NOAH drummer Rio Arif.
The embedding of Fadjroel Rachman as the 2020 Ambassador of Sasirangan was done by Mayor H Ibnu Sina and for the drummer of NOAH Rio Arif was pinned by Deputy Mayor H Hermansyah at the peak of the 2020 Banjarmasin Sasirangan Festival (BSF) here, Sunday (March 8, 2020).
Fadjroel Rachman was accompanied by his wife when he received the inauguration. He wore a beige-colored sasirangan fabric after attending the sasirangan carnival as the series of the 4th BSF.

Meanwhile, the NOAH drummer Rio Arif was represented by his mother to receive the inauguration as the ambassador of Sasirangan fabric.
Fadjroel Rachman, who was born in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, on January 17, 1964, admitted that he was very honored for this coronation as a Sasirangan ambassador.
"Ulun katuju banar lawan kain Sasirangan (I love Sasirangan fabric very much)," he said in Banjar language.
According to him, this is not the first time he had been appointed as Sasirangan ambassador, a few year ago the provincial government of South Kalimantan had given him the same honor.
"I will try often to wear Sasirangan," he said.

He praised the current motif of Sasirangan that continues to show progress, so it can compete the other national batik fabric.
"Even my wife, who is originally from Bandung, also likes Sasirangan," he acknowledged.
Fadjroel Rachman said, people must visit Banjarmasin, because there are many interesting things in this city, not only Sasirangan fabric, but also culinary, culture, and city of rivers.
"Come to Banjarmasin, and don't forget to buy Sasirangan fabric," he added.
