Free treatment and compensation for fire victims were carried out after a fire broke out in two places,Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - South Kalimantan Regional Police through the Doctors and Health Dept (Bid Dokkes) and Bhayangkara Hugeng Imam Santoso Hospital Banjarmasin held free medical treatment at the former fire location.
"Free treatment and compensation for fire victims were carried out after a fire broke out in two places," explained Head of Bid Dokkes Sr. Comr. Erwinn Zainul Hakim.
Previously, there had been a major fire at two locations in Banjarmasin. Namely behind the Antasari Market, Jalan Kelayan A Luar, which burned 23 houses and on Jalan Veteran Gang Baru, which hit 10 families.
The health services provided were blood pressure checks, general medical services, simple laboratories, free medicines, and outpatient dental services.
In addition to free medical treatment, the Police members also provided basic necessities to ease the burden on residents who were affected by the disaster.
"This is a form of empathy that represents the leader of the South Kalimantan Regional Police Chief Inspector General Yazid Fanani. Hopefully the citizens can be patient, steadfast and remain enthusiastic," Erwinn said.
