Banjarbaru, (AntaranewsKalsel) - The Government of South Kalimantan develops regional tourism in an integrated manner through borneotrip.id, an application that offers various tourist sites in the province.
Member of South Kalimantan Information Technology Development Team Riza Ahyari in Banjarbaru on Friday said by using the application tourists who will visit South Kalimantan will be easier and fun.
"The application we developed in collaboration with the district and city governments and various components of society, through community-based integrated tourism," he said.
Through the borneotrip.id all information about the tour, location, travel agent, culinary, souvenirs, and so forth can be accessed. The page provider provides information on the estimated cost required by travelers to a tourist location.
Borneotrip.id applications just like go jack, grab, traveloka, Tiket.com, bukalapak, and others, but not exactly. Because, in other applications customer transactions simply by buying.
"While on this borneotrip.id tourists can meet directly with the seller of souvenirs for example, or seller of typical food of South Kalimantan," he explained.
This application involves the community, tourism awareness group, travel agents, hotel, restaurant, provider of souvenirs. While tourists can directly request services with the required sector.
Currently, added Riza, it is in the process of inputting databases from all components of tourism in South Kalimantan, both culinary data, culture, and tourist locations.
"Even the ojek group also we have data, because there are some tourist sites can not be reached by the car but must ride motorcycle. We need the details of the funds needed for the transportation, so the estimated cost on page is not much different to what experienced by tourists," he said.
The initiator of the page borneotrip.id Regional Secretary of South Kalimantan Abdul Haris Makkie said, "In the early stage the borneotrip.id run should be coordinated by the government first."
When it is done, he added, it is fully used and run by the community as well as the tourism awareness group.
