Tanjung, S Kalimantan (AntaranewaKalsel) - Jaro Sector Police, Tabalong District, South Kalimantan, keep their eyes to secure four tourist attractions along the Idul Fitri 1439 Hijriah holidays season.
Jaro police chief First Insp (Iptu) Suwarno here on Sunday said that the security is an enhanced police activity program targeting visitors.
Four tourist attractions that became the target of security are Lano Waterfall, Liang Tapah Cave, Hill Karamo, and Batu Rapai river rapids.
From these four attractions, Lano Waterfall, which is in trans South and East Kalimantan road, has the most visitors as its only about 200 meters from the main road.
Suwarno said the security was done in an effort to anticipate or prevent crimes in crowded places.
"From the results of monitoring there are about 1,500 visitors at Lano Waterfall and we are trying to anticipate crime in tourist sites," said Suwarno.
Jaro Sub-district is the most end of Tabalong regency that borders with East Kalimantan Province.
