"The regulation is adhered to well by modern store management for approximately two years, we are also very firmly watching them," said Ibnu Sina.
While the owners of modern stores also feel benefited, because previously the cost of procurement of plastic bags can reach hundreds of millions per year.
Regulations that have been valid for two years, he added, also realized by the people of the City, so they have to bring their own shopping bags if they go to the modern store.
The regulation, Ibnu said, will gradually also be applied in traditional markets, so the use of plastic bags that can pollute the river can be significantly reduced.
