Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The South Kalimantan Police's Directorate of Drug Investigation (Ditresnarkoba) has uncovered what said as two big drug rings in early 2018.
"I appreciate the work of Ditresnarkoba at the beginning of this year, hopefully, can reveal the bigger until the circulation of drugs can be suppressed," said South Kalimantan Police Chief Brigadier General Rachmat Mulyana in Banjarmasin on Thursday.
According to him, the first network has been uncovered was Ir alias IwB who was arrested by Ditresnarkoba members in Cisarua, Bogor, West Java, on Friday (5/1).
"Eight people were arrested and one is still in the most wanted list (DPO) of this group with 40 packets of sabu-sabu and 1,633 ecstasy pills," said Rachmat accompanied by Director of Drug Investigation Sr Comr Muhammad Firman.
For the two suspects, Ir and MS, officers gave them both shot at the foot, for trying to escape when captured.
Then on Tuesday (9/1), members of Ditresnarkoba again managed to thwarted the efforts to supply sabu-sabu to South Kalimantan.
Perpetrator Aj alias Jm was ambushed when came out of Syamsudin Noor airport arrival door for bringing two sabu-sabu packages.
The perpetrator whose origin from Lampung flew from Batam to Banjarmasin transit in Jakarta.
"The sabu-sabu shipment is controlled by the inmate of the Karang Intan Drug Prison, and the members are still doing further development," said the one-star the general.
