Tanjung, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Adaro Group together with Alamtri through Amanah Bangun Negeri Foundation (YABN) are expanding their stunting prevention program by including pregnant women with Chronic Energy Deficiency (KEK) as a crucial strategy to prevent the emergence of stunted growth.
YABN staff for health, Debby Aulia Firdaus, stated that YABN strives to improve nutritional status and raise public awareness on the importance of nutritious diet and healthy lifestyle.
"The National Health Day is an important reminder for all parties to strengthen cross-sector collaboration to realize a healthy, stunting-free community," she said, Saturday.

Besides, the companies want to ensure that children and pregnant women in their operational areas receive adequate nutritional care through family mentoring and nutritious supplementary feeding or PMT.
YABN reaffirmed its commitment to accelerate stunting reduction in the operational areas, in line with the spirit of the 2025 National Health Day (HKN) comemoration with a theme “Health Generation, Great Future,”.
YABN is driving this acceleration through sustainable program that includes family education and mentoring, training to stengthen competence of cadres, and PMT.

Meanwhile, Dr Dani Ferdian, Chairman of Sinergi Indonesia Peduli Foundation (YSIP), supporting partner of the program, assessed YABN's move to expand its program to pregnant women with KEK is an important strategy in preventing new cases of stunting.
“The acceleration of stunting reduction program implemented in collaboration with YABN reflects a comprehensive approach, from family education, strengthening capacity of cadres, to nutritional intervention for stunted toddlers and pregnant women with KEK," he described.
This program also fosters a collaborative ecosystem involving the government, private sector, academics, healthcare professionals, and the community.
