Batulicin, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The district of Tanah Bumbu, South Kalimantan Province, is promoting its woven cloth Tenun Pagatan and sasirangan at the International Handicraft Trade Fair (INACRAFT) 2025, the biggest crafts expo in Southeast Asia.
"Some 843 MSMEs from all over Indonesia, including Tanah Bumbu, participating in promoting MSME products at INACRAFT," said Chairperson of the Tanah Bumbu National Handicraft Council (Dekranasda) Andi Irmayani Rudi Latif in Batulicin, Wednesday.
Tanah Bumbu displayed a variety of crafts, including the traditional Pagatan woven fabric or Tenun Pagatan, Sasirangan cloth, and various sasirangan craft such as clothes, fans, laptop bags, and sasirangan scrarves.

She said INACRAFT is an important platform for Tanah Bumbu to expand its craft market, nationally and internationally.
Meanwhile, Vice President of World Craft Council (WCC) Kundeep Kumar had visited the Tanah Bumbu MSMEs booth.
Kundeep Kumar expressed international recognition for the potential of crafts from Bumi Bersujud (Tanah Bumbu's nickname).
"Kundeep Kumar carefully observed and appreciated the beauty of the motifs and quality of Tenun Pagatan and sasirangan products on displaying," said Irmayani.
She believes the visit of the representatives from international craft organization was proof that Tanah Bumbu craft products are globally competitive.
