Banjarmasin, S Kalimatan (ANTARA) - The Provincial Government of South Kalimantan received Unqualified Opinion (WTP) on its 2024 financial report for the 12th time from the Indonesian Supreme Audit Agency (BPK RI).
It was revealed during the handover of the the agency's audit report (LHP) on South Kalimantan government's 2024 Regional Finance Report (LKPD) at the provincial Legislative Council (DPRD) Plenary Meeting in Banjarmasin, Monday.
The Central Government Finance Expert Staff of the BPK RI Ahmad Adib Susilo said the provincial government must follow up the recommendation from the agency's findings in no later than 60 days from the submission of the audit report.

He said this unqualified opinion or WTP will be useless, if the provincial government is unable to improve the economy and welfare of the local community.
"Among the findings are incorrect classification of goods and services, as well as loss of income," he said.
Based on examination report from BPK, there was an excess of spending of around Rp24 billion and was resolved by about 32 percent, and experienced a regional losses of approximately Rp9.9 billion with 88 findings in the 2024 LKPD.
Meanwhile, Governor of South Kalimantan H Muhidin said the success of achieving WTP was inseparable from cooperation of the provincial DPRD with all regional work units (SKPDs).
Muhidin stated that he was ready to follow up the BPK's recommendations regarding the findings in the 2024 LKPD (financial report) according to the applicable direction, procedures, and provisions.
