Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning (ATR) Minister/Head of National Land Agency (BPN) Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) accompanied President Joko Widodo at the inauguration of State Palace in Nusantara Capital City (IKN), East Kalimantan Province, Friday (October 11, 2024).
On this occasion, Minister AHY handed over electronic Land Certificate with Right to Use for the State Palace and Garuda Palace to the Minister of State Secretary Pratikno as witnessed by President Joko Widodo.
“By handing over the Right to Use Certificate, legally and formally, everything can be explained and hopefully this can be a good start for further construction and develoment for the core area of the government center (KIPP) of IKN,” said Minister AHY to media crew after the inauguration as quoted from South Kalimantan National Land Agency's (BPN's) press release.
The land, with the Right to Use with the right holder is the Government of the Republic of Indonesia Cq. the Ministry of State Secretary, has an area of 56.87 hectares or 568,705 square meters.

The electronic land certificate, which was issued by the Penajam Paser Utara Land Office, was the first in the KIPP area.
The State Palace inauguration was marked by pressing siren button by President Joko Widodo together with First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo and a number of Ministers and Heads of Onward Indonesia Cabinet institutions who were present.
On this historic day, Minister AHY hopes that the State Palace will bring progress and prosperity to the people of Indonesia.
“Today we are happy and historic being able to directly attend at the inauguration of the State Palace at IKN, which of course can truly become a symbol toward an increasingly advanced Indonesia in the 21st century. We hope that great ideas will continue to be born as well as various strategic steps to make Indonesia more advanced country and more prosperous for its people,” said ATR Minister/BPN Head.
AHY was accompanied by ATR Deputy Minister/BPN Deputy Head concurrently Deputy Head of Nusantara Capital Authority (OIKN) Raja Juli Antoni, Special Staff for Internal Management Agust Jovan Latuconsina, Head of the Ministry's Public Relation Harison Mocodompis, Head of East Kalimantan BPN Deni Ahmad Hidayat and his staff, as well as Head of Penajam Paser Utara Land Office Zulkhoir and Head of Balikpapan Land Office Ade Chandra Wijaya.
