Banjarmasin, S Kalimatan (ANTARA) - Head of South Kalimantan Ombudsman Representative Hadi Rahman announced that 14 regional governments in the province achieved green zone for public service compliance.
"This means they have achieved the high and highest quality title," Hadi said when handing over the results of the 2023 assessment at the Mahligai Pancasila Building, Banjarmasin, Wednesday.
He said, of the 14 regional governments, including the provincial government, 13 of them achieved the green zone with high and highest quality opinion, and one government with yellow zone or medium quality.
There is an increase compared to 2022, when almost the majority received yellow zone or medium quality opinion for their public service compliance.
"We acknowledge that the regional governments in South Kalimantan have done their best to improve public services, thus their ranking raised significantly," he affirmed.
South Hulu Sungai (HSS) District achieved the firt place with the assessment score of 95.07.

He pointed out that this assessment is a form of preventing maladministration. "Apart from the context of resolving publc reports, it is also assesssing compliance," Hadi expounded.
Compliance assessment since 2015 under the Law No.37 regarding Ombudsman, Governemnt Regulation and Presidential Decrees related to the 2019-2024 National Medium Term Development Plan (RPJMN).
Meanwhile, South Kalimantan Governor H Sahbirin Noor in his statement read by Expert Staff for Society and Human Resources Husnul Hatimah extended his appreciation to all the regional governments for winning the achievement from the Ombudsman.
He said the provincial government also won the high quality title with a score of 85.77.
“The achievement that we made together is the results of hard work and role of all parties, both public service providers at the policy-making level, implementing human resources, the community and regional apparatus organizations that accompany work units," said the Governor.
He emphasized that this achievement should be able to stimulate enthusiasm to improve in order to realize excellent public services, not only at the provincial level but also in districts and cities.
