Batulicin, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Tanah Bumbu's investment realization for 2023 has exceeded the target, Regent of Tanah Bumbu, South Kalimantan, Zairullah Azhar informed.
"This year's investment target of IDR2.4 trillion, alhamdulillah (praise be to Allah) IDR5.8 trillion was realized," he said in Batulicin, Sunday.
The achievement of investments include domestic investment (PMDN) of 64.41 percent and foreign investment (PMA) reaching 35.59 percent.
Investment, he said, has an important role in economic growth. It creates jobs, increases people's income and purchasing power, and creates an even economic cycle.
One of the regional government's commitment is to provide ease of doing business, thus it is preparing to build Public Service Mall (MPP) in 2024.
MPP aims to provide convenience, quick, affordable, safe, and comfortable services to the public.
Head of Tanah Bumbu Investment and One Stop Integrated Service (DPMPTSP) Andrianto Wicaksono said to expedite the program the related agencies have carried out evaluation of obstacles faced by the district government.
"One of the discussion was the development of investment ecosystem to anticipate world megatrend in 2045, and transformation of governance to improve investment in the region," he said.
