Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Liang Anggang Community Health Center (Puskemas Liang Anggang), Banjarbaru City, South Kalimantan, has received a paripurna accreditation from the Ministry of Health for the quality of its services.
This is the high legitimacy for the quality of service at first level health facilities.
The certificate was issued on September 23, 2023 and valid until 2028, signed by Director General of Health Services of the Mnistry of Health dr Azhar Jaya and Chair of Plenary Health Service Accreditation Agency dr Dian Emawati.
Mayor of Banjarbaru Muhammad Aditya Mufti Ariffin here on Tuesday appreciated the performance of Banjarbaru Health Service together with the ranks of 10 puskesmas so that one of them succeeded in achieving accreditation.
"Alhamdulillah (Thank God), Puskesmas Liang Anggang achieved paripurna accreditation and it is hoped that others will achieve this so that all community health centers will get better," he said.
In this way, Aditya said, the public will no longer have doubts about the quality of services at first-level health facilities.
Head of Banjarbaru Health Office dr Juhai Triyanti said that accreditation surveys for community health center (puskesmas) are important so that the quality of service and patient safety can be integrated.
"The aim is to encourage community health centers to meet the standards spirit of Continous Quality Improvement for all performance as a culture in puskesmas," she said.

Head of Health Office emphasized that the accreditation achieved could further instill a sense of confidence in people seeking treatment at puskesmas besides a commitment to providing the best service.
"Accreditation status is recognition that health service facilities at puskesmas meet the standards set by the accreditation administerng agency (LPA) so that people should not hesitate to seek treatment," she said.
She said nine puskesmas in Banjarbaru were proposed and are still in the process of the accreditation assessment and some are waiting for the results of assessment from the agency.
