Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Pronvincial Government of South Kalimantan stated that inflation until the second week of July 2023 is still under control at 4.30 percent.
Acting Province's Assistant II for Economy and Development Suparmi here on Tuesday informed that year on year (y-on-y) inflation stayed at 4.30 percent as it was in the previous month.
While month to month (m-to-m) inflation stood at 0.35 percent.
Meanwhile, the current national y-o-y inflation stood at 4.00 percent and the m-to-m inflation at 0.14 percent.

She said, the provincial government has attended a virtual coordination meeting on handling inflation with the Ministry of Home Affairs last Monday.
The South Kalimantan Pronvincial Government in the meeting reported that inflation or increases in prices for good and services in general in districts and cities was quite under control.
"Alhamdulillah (Thank God) the inflation was under control like previous months, even in three districts and one city, namely Tanah Laut, Barito Kuala, Tapin and Banjarbaru, experiencing a minus Consumer Price Index (CPI)," Suparmi pointed out.
Based on the province's data, the Tanah Laut's CPI was -1.233, Barito Kuala -0.234, Tapin -1.079, and Banjarbaru City -2.502.
Meanwhile, the CPI of other districts and cities was around 0.354 up to 1.327.
"Commodities that held inflation in South Kalimantan were chicken meat, hot chili, wet shrimp, garlic, and banana," she said.
