Beijing (ANTARA) - Indonesia recorded business transactions worth Rp23.3 trillion from its participation in the 19th China-ASEAN Exhibition (CAExpo) held in Nanning, Guangxi, on September 16-19, 2022.
"The accumulated transaction value of Rp23.3 trillion was obtained from direct trade (B2C), business agreements (B2B), and investment MoUs during the exhibition," Indonesian Ambassador to China Djauhari Oratmangun said here on Saturday.
In the annual event which was held in the southern region of mainland China, Indonesia always has its own pavilions.
This year, the Indonesian Pavilion which stood on an area of 270 square meters, divided into two, namely the Commodity Pavilion covering an area of 180 square meters and the National Pavilion on an area of 90 square meters.

In the Commodity Pavilion, various products, such as jewelry, food and beverages, agriculture and handicrafts, were displayed.
Meanwhile, at the National Pavilion, performances of traditional arts and culture, both dances and gamelan music were held.
The Indonesia Pavilion also provided information on the potential for trade, investment, and tourism in Indonesia as well as information on the Indonesia Trade Expo which will take place in Tangerang, Banten, on October 19-23 , 2022, both online and offline.
On the sidelines of CAExpo, Indonesia also attended several investment and trade forums, such as the 2022 ASEAN Media Partnership Forum, RCEP Economic and Trade Conference, China-ASEAN Economic Cooperation, Trade and Infrastructure Forum, and China-ASEAN Port Information Forum.
