Head of HST Youth, Sport, Culture and Tourism Agency (Disporabudpar) Fahriah in Barabai on Friday said now the government is making preparations to support and develop Pagat as a mainstay of tourism in South Kalimantan.
"We have to socialize tourism awareness in order to improve Sapta Pesona in the tourist attraction of Pagat, Batu Benawa sub-district," he said.
The socialization followed by 40 people. Those of Travel Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) sub-districts Batu Benawa, Indonesia Guides Association (HPI) Branch Barabai, Nanang Galuh HST, and nature lovers.
Socialization, said Fahriah, is expected to open up public insight on tourism development plan by applying Sapta Pesona program in the tourist attraction.
"Sapta Pesona consisted of a safe, orderly, clean, cool, beautiful, suave, and memories, so as to create an ideal location for all the tourists," he said.
In addition, as a tourist destination that counts on the HST, the government also continue to strive to build a more caring community to mental and tourism awareness through various programs that have been established.
