Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Sokonindo Automobile, DFSK's brand holder in Indonesia, announced that its factory in Cikande, Serang, Banten Province, has produced cars to be exported to 14 countries.
Some 14 countries targeted for DFSK exports include Bangladesh, Morocco, Nepal, Brunei Darussalam, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam.
“Our spirit in presenting qualified vehicles that can be accepted locally and internationally has become DFSK’s vision since the construction of its first factory in Indonesia,” the company’s public relations and media manager, Achmad Rofiqi, noted in a press statement issued here on Saturday.
“DFSK remains committed to being strongly rooted in Indonesia, expanding to Southeast Asian countries and distributing our products all over the world. This is in line with the government’s mission to boosting the exports of automotive products currently being utilized,” he explained.

Exports during the January-October 2021 period rose by 199 percent (year-on-year), with vehicle shipments totaling 1,766, he confirmed.
The DFSK factory in Cikande employs the precise production process with the help of the Industry 4.0 technology and Indonesia’s workforce, Rofidi stated.
The factory inaugurated in 2017 has a maximum production capacity of 50 thousand units per year allocated to meet the local and international needs, he stated.
The factory produces DFSK Glory 560, DFSK Glory i-AUTO, DFSK Super Cab and DFSK Gelora models.
