The Tabalong government's spokesman for the Taskforce of acceleration handling of COVID-19 Taufiqurrahman Hamdie said that most of the fresh cases were in Murung Pudak as many as 19 people.
"The number of patients who died of COVID-19 also increased by three in addition to 60 new cases," said Taufik.
Two of the residents who died of COVID-19 were from Muara Uya Sub-district and one from Upau Sub-district, bringing the total to 38.

Taufik also informed that today as many as 45 people, who were exposed to COVID-19, were declared recovered. They were in Murung Pudak 20, Bintang Ara 16, Tanjung 3, Haruai 3, Muara Uya 1, Upau 1, and Jaro 1.
The addition of patients who recovered that day made the total recovery to 1,331.
Meanwhile, the total confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 in Tabalong to the date are 1,685 people and 316 patients are being treated.
