Herbi said the mall was chosen because it is visited by many people for shopping and entertainment. It was hoped as many people as possible can be vaccinated.
"We deliberately chose Saturday and Sunday to have more visitors. Hopefully tomorrow more people will participate in the vaccination," he said.
The Commander said that the accelerated vaccination will continue to be supported by TNI to reach the nationwide target of one million COVID-19 vaccine jabs per day.
The more people are vaccinated, the more communal immunity is formed in the community and eventually cut off the spread of COVID-19.
"Let us make this vaccination program successful to save Indonesia from the COVID-19 pandemic," said the Commander.
