Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Regent Kotabaru H Irhami Ridjani proposed revisions in District Spatial Planning (RTRWK) to the Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Ferry Mursyidan Baldan.
"The changes proposed are removal of some sub-districts, airport, sector police office, and some infrastructure which are in the preservation area," said Kotabaru Public Relations sub-affairs head Feby Sitepu here on Thursday.
Based on the Minister of Forestry Decree 435/2009, there were several sub-districts towns, and a number of government infrastructure built into the nature reserve forest area. Thus, local governments concerned to remove the area from ​​nature reserves to be developed as strategic areas of ​​development.
He said, Kotabaru proposal has the support of the Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Ferry Mursyidan Baldan.
"He asked regent to attach chronological publication of the Decree of the Forestry Minister to explaine that the sub-district towns, police office and airport that had been occupied by the community and public facilities are within the nature reserve," he said.
In addition, minister also asked Kotabaru to attach a map of the area issued by Geospatial Information Agency (BIG).
"Once everything is complete, Minister of Agrarian and Spatial ready to facilitate local government to coordinate with the Ministry of Forestry to discuss the issue," he explained.
