Rantau, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The construction of the new Datu Sanggul Rantau District Hospital owned by the Tapin government is targeted to be completed in December 2021.
"The physical building (has reached) 17 percent. Insya Allah (God Willing) it will be completed in December 2021," said Head of Cipta Karya of the Tapin Public Works and Housing (PUPR) Agency Fahmi Rizal.
He said the physical construction cost for the hospital on a 4.8-hectare land was a loan from PT Sarana Multi Insfratruktur (SMI) Persero.
"Later we will pay through APBD (the district budget) during the regent period. We hope the hospital to be completed in 2021," he said.

Last February, Tapin Regent HM Arifin Arpan officiated the groundbreaking for the construction of the new hospital building which is located on Jalan Trantang, Bitahan Urban Village, Lokpaikat Sub-district.
"The presence of this new hospital (building) will provide convenience and comfort for the people in Tapin to get health services. So, in the future they do not have to go far to get treatment," he said.
The Tapin government will place qualified specialist doctors, thus the hospital will not only offers luxurious buildings and facilities but quality human resources.
The new Datu Sanggul General Hospital will have 202 rooms more than the old hospital with 115 rooms.
