Head of Immigration Office Class I Banjarmasin Tjutju Purnama said the foreign workers repatriated through Syamsudin Noor Airport on Friday afternoon.
"We escorted directly repatriation of 23 foreign workers to their home country but only drove up to Soekarno Hatta Airport in Jakarta," he said in Syamsudin Noor Airport.
23 foreign workers who can not speak Indonesian and English flown to Jakarta using Lion Air at 17:10. Subsequently, they were flown using China Airlines plane from Soekarno Hatta Airport at 23:40 to the city of Beijing, China.
"The whole cost of repatriation of foreign workers covered by the company and we accompany once escorted to ensure their return to their home country," said Tjutju.
However, he explained, three other Chinese foreign workers allowed to stay for two weeks because the company requested that they be allowed to secure assets.
Earlier, on Wednesday (18/3) Banjarmasin Immigration deported five Chinese foreign workers who work there and captured by the Minister of Manpower Hanif Dhakiri on sudden inspection on Saturday (14/3).
