Rantau, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Tapin Regent HM Arifin Arpan received 5,000 rapid test antigen kits symbolically from acting Governor of South Kalimantan Safrizal ZA as a 3T (tracking, testing, and treatment) effort to stop the spread of COVID-19 in the province.
"The antigen swab to be carried out massively, if necessary 50 percent of the public will be screened, so the real number of yellow and green (zoning) is obtained thus people feel safer in their activities," Safrizal said to media crews, Wednesday in Rantau.
Regarding 5,000 rapid test antigen kits distributed to Tapin, he acknowledged that they were not enough. He hopes that the Tapin government will have its own screening tool.
"Rapid test antigen is certainly to serve the public, it could be used in conjunction with justisi operation. Tapin has yellow and green zoning," said Arifin Arpan.
Currently, Tapin is carrying out the second phase of COVID-19 vaccination, justisi operation, as well as implementing the micro-scale of community activity restriction (PPKM mikro).
