Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Acting Governor of South Kalimantan Safrizal ZA observed COVID-19 vaccination of hundreds of traders at Banjarmasin's main market Sentra Antasari, Tuesday.
Safrizal, who was accompanied by acting Mayor H Mukhyar, said that vaccination is a continuous program from the government aimed at building immunity to the people, so they were avoided from the COVID-19 transmission.
"Vaccination is for the safety of all of us. Everyone who meets the requirements must be vaccinated, thus the spread of the virus can be stopped in Banjarmasin and this province," he pointed out.
He hopes that traders will share understanding with their families and neighbors to make the vaccination program successful.
"Tell families at home to register or be registered as participants. Insya Allah everything is safe. I also have been vaccinated twice, DPRD speaker twice, all twice, insya Allah it is safe," he said.
