Pelaihari, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Tanah Laut Regent HM Sukamta asked residents not to be afraid of being vaccinated with COVID-19 vaccine.
"After being vaccinated, I don't get any symptoms and still feel healthy. I ask people not to be afraid of COVID-19 vaccine," said Sukamta after the launch of COVID-19 vaccine at the Angsau Pelaihari Community Health Center (Puskesmas), Friday (Jan 29, 2021).
COVID-19 vaccine, according to him, has resulted no pain, unlike other vaccine such as smallpox, polio, BSG during elementary school there was a pain.
"So there is no need to be afraid and worry. If we being vaccinated insha Allah (God Willing) will be safe from COVID-19," he pointed out.
He invited the people of Tanah Laut to get the jab in order Tanah Laut would be free from COVID-19.
Separately, one of the public figure of Tanah Laut H Muhammad Noor also asked residents to be not afraid of COVID-19 vaccine.
"After being vaccinated I don't feel anything or any symptoms," said the chairman of DPC PDI-P Tanah Laut.
Speaker of Tanah Laut DPRD Muslimin also appealed to the Tanah Laut residents not to be afraid of being vaccinated.
