Tanjung, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Tabalong Task Force spokesperson for the Acceleration Handling of COVID-19 Taufiqurrahman Hamdie reported that patients' recovery period is getting improved in the district.
Taufik said on Sunday (July 5, 2020) that the recovery period at the district's special hospital for handling COVID-19 has improved from 29 days to 24 days.
Even, he added, one patient had previously recovered after 11 days of treatment.
"Patients in the isolation unit, even though OTG (asymptomatic cases) are given medication to be quickly recovered and are controlled by a doctor every day," he said.
The therapy for them included sunbathing, providing adequate and regular nutrition of food and motivating patients not to stress so they will speed up healing.

The confirmed positive COVID-19 cases in Tabalong has reached 117 with the death tally of four.
"From a total of 117 positive cases (as of Sunday) 73 people are inpatient and 40 had recovered," Taufik explained.
There was an addition of eight new positive cases on that day, he said, but at the same time nine patients have recovered.
