Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The University of Lambung Mangkurat (ULM) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with East West Power Indonesia (EWPI), a company from South Korea engages in the field of energy and powerplant.
ULM Rector Prof Dr H. Sutarto Hadi deeply appreciated the MoU he signed with President Director of EWPI Kim Jin Tae. The collaboration with the leading company from Korea, according to him, was a form of successful ULM internationalization.
"I hope it will be a way for ULM to get international accreditation, and to be a way for further cooperation in various filed for the advance of ULM," he remarked.

Kim Jin Tae said, EWPI is a company from Korea handling energy and powerplant.
In Indonesia, they are in two places, Jakarta and Tanjung (Tabalong, South Kalimantan). The company cooperation with government and institution in South Kalimantan is considered very important.

ULM is the first institution to make MoU with them in Kalimantan. He hoped this can be a big opportunity to build a good relation and mutually beneficial to both parties.
The signing of MoU also attended by EWPI General Manager Heo Yoong Joon. While from ULM were Deputy Rector for Academic Affairs Dr H Aminuddin Prahatama Putra, Deputy Rector for Student Affairs and Alumni Dr Ir H Muhammad Fauzi, Deputy Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Public Relations Prof Dr Ir H Yudi Firmanul Arifin.
