Tanjung, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - Former officials of Tabalong Government dominated the candidates list (DCT) declared by the Tabalong Regional Election Commissions (KPUD) for electoral districts (Dapil) I, includes subdistrict Murung Pudak.
Local KPUD chairman, Fahriansyah here on Sunday, said that most came from Golkar Party among which is former head of Manpower and Transmigration Agency (Kadisnakertrans) Kiswanul Arifin, Head of Tax and Revenue Office (Kadispenda) Mawardi and Rasman, a headmaster of income in Dispenda.
Beside Golkar, Gerindra also has former official, Panji Asmara, Head of Personnel Administration Office, as its candidate member for Tabalong DPRD.
From Hanura, two former officials also become its candidates, they are Head of Health Agency Rusly Thamrin and the District Secretary Abdul Bakhith.
"Indeed, some parties deliberately holding former officials to be candidates in the hope of boosting number of votes because of course they are quite popular figure in the community, especially the urban areas," said Secretary of the DPC Gerindra Tabalong, Nordiansyah Nunci.
In this electoral district 1 there were 66 candidates from 12 parties on the DCT of the total 329 candidates by the number of women representation to the Subdistrict Murung Pudak (Dapil 1) as many as 23 people, and the remaining 43 of men.
While the overall number of women representation in the four constituencies reached 129 candidates and male candidates 200 persons.
